It's that time of year again! Hit me up and we'll get the league back together again! We can add more people than we had last year, actually I'd prefer it. No fee, just fun. PPR, I added an extra IR spot last year, and I may need to add another or a Covid reserve spot like many of the sites are doing. I know we've got a bunch of new members, so hopefully we get some more people wanting to play this year. If you've ever thought about playing fantasy football, this is how to start.
I think I already sent out the invite to everyone that was in it last year by renewing the league. There's still plenty of room for more people though...
Ok getting to crunch time. I like to set the draft literally days before the season starts, and this year even more so. The season is 2 weeks away, Thursday September 10th and I'd like to set the draft to be any early evening that weekend before (labor day weekend 5, 6 and labor day 9/7) or even the Tuesday or Wednesday evening literally right before the season starts on Thursday night. I'm leaning to have the draft either Monday September 7th in the evening, or Tuesday/ Wednesday evening. Thoughts?

Ok we've literally got a couple of days as the season starts on Thursday night. I made the draft to be on Wednesday evening. But we'll need 1 more person to make it an even number, otherwise we might have to scrap the tradition we have had find for a few years here on FHC. I really don't want to do that.

X2. I like to watch. I was checking for my big 10 team schedule. All I see is canceled games. Checked with my son and he told me the big 10 cancelled all games for the season and hopefully will reschedule in the spring time. So far it looks like the NFL games are still on so I will have that.
Not a fan of pro sports, even in the good years. I do have a couple Browns players who hunt and shoot at my place.
Looks like the big10 will start in October... Have been officially announced, but I hope that will happen.

Ok last call. All I need is 1 more person to send an email for the draft tonight. Otherwise the season will be scrapped unfortunately. I think we've been doing this for 3 or 4 years now, so tht would be a shame. You don't even need to do the draft, let it autodraft. with only 6 teams, EVERY team is stacked and can win a championship. you could literally only set your lineup every week before kickoff on sunday and win the whole deal. This is the easiest way to get into fantasy football, and it makes pretty much every nfl game fun to watch, even if you have nobody playing from your team. Sometimes its fun watching a close game between 2 competitors, and this really adds a bit to it. With what's going on out there, I think everyone needs a little escape.
