You could build a pallet box for the back of a pick up!

Thanks Larry. Appreciate it. We miss the F6DA05F0-F06A-4ACB-A176-9E2C9EB4DB98.jpeg too. But there are other little ones to fill in. Barn cats. 21249721-FE54-4B1F-9725-1614F8869391.jpeg Dogs. 0E4C02AB-AF96-4683-8669-A003182C7A44.jpeg New chicks 6119FF0D-7229-49D8-BDD4-D85510E88821.jpeg that my daughter seems to be able to convince “us” to get, even though Dad says no! :picard:(But I do like to eat eggs.) And of course The spoiled ones, who will nicely mow the back yard, but NOT pick up afterwards! My wife has to do that because they are not suppose to be in my backyard. 24E1F4FE-1E4C-4CF6-B74C-91F11C85A57E.jpeg 5CD83CFD-1547-44FE-B095-15FEA4D8DE0F.jpeg

Thank you NortheastAl and savemoney , it's been a trying 11 months, I am closer with God and the side of my family with 3 deaths (my Dad's side). We have a puppy, and kiddo and WWW are back to school and work so we are getting back to some normalcy here thankfully. Now I understand too well when people joke about retiring and being home together 24/7:rofl: :rofl: :rofl: .

We have not drove my Duramax for awhile, finally pulled it into the garage to day and it's leaking tranny fluid from the front. Front. :picard: Funny there is none where it's been parked for the last couple months...... Anyway we are debating which vehicle to park in my spot in the garage, the Jeep or the Duramax. I want the Jeep outside so the sun hitting the black interior warms it on the inside, vehicles in the garage are freezing cold. Then I cracked up Horkn , it's not a Jeep, we are talking about the Toyota FJ Cruiser  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Thanks! He said he thinks a "cooling box", and the hoses are not leaking. Not sure, it was late when he realized and was looking with a petzel. He pressure washed the garage floor (SERIOUS mud out here) yesterday  & just dumped some stove pellets on the puddle. Checked the bolts on the cooling box and said either sealant or part of a hardened gasket sticking out broke off.

Was this an ode to the now dead car? or did you have an idea that your car was going to die?

6D069E41-AC11-4FCA-8E45-9FC95BB0BE11.jpeg About three more weeks of drying outside and then under the covered porch it will go. First in will be the least seasoned stuff of Beech and Maple that will end up being burned through winter and spring. Last will be the well seasoned Ash and Pine that will start us off and bring us through Christmas time.

Yesterday I got final coat of paint rolled on, the shower caulked and shower head installed, subfloor prepped for glue, and the closet shelving/rods installed in both closets.

Going to try to get all the whole pieces of floor tile installed tonight...then go back and patch in all the cut pieces later. This pressure sensitive glue doesn't give you a whole lot of time to mess around with cutting pieces.

It's going to be a while before it is "finished". I have a pretty big vanity to build from scratch. My goal is to get it "live-able" soon, and everything 100% done by Thanksgiving.

Don't be fooled about retirement! I fondly remember and even remind my wife that many moons ago although we dearly loved our sons, I told her then that I looked forward to the day our kids were grown and then it was just her and me again; just like when we got married. It proved to be great and still is. Retirement can be wonderful.
