Temps in upper 70's with dewpoint in low 70's so a sticky damp day with rain this morning into the afternoon. Buggy chunks and bark in the firepit. Chicken wings (for buffalo wings) on the charcoal. Opted to eat inside with AC going.
Hoping to never see another day with dew points over 70. Well actually I don't like them over 60 either. Wow. Just had some sandhill cranes fly over. First I've heard for a couple months. Sounded like they may have been at a neighbor's pond about 1/4 mile away.
Most of our Summer its been like that. It was weird when it was dry a couple times in the last two weeks. Didnt last long though.

It was so hot in CT that.......... 1. Had to eat inside with the AC ! 2. 3. 4...............................................
No sand beaches or bikinis hereabouts. Our beaches are rocks. You had to be far south such as Ogunquit, York, Old Orchard.....a good 3+ hours from here.
Ah, at last, an end to sweaty armpits, smelly clothes, heat dizzys, tools falling away from damp hands, and more. More. Now the sweet days of fresh cider, tree color ( colour ), pumpkins, cool morning runs, fleece sheets.......and more. And none of this 90 F with 90's humidity Mr. AlGore.
Never been that far down the peninsula from Bowdoin. Worth a visit to the Perry Arctic Museum at the college next time you go. Looks pretty at Hermit.
