New saw showed up finally!

    I had been looking for a nice MS440 or MS460 to buy. I found an almost new 440 at a great deal, so I bought it. The guy shipped it to me, but FedEx lost it and had no record of it's whereabouts, and they still do not at this very moment. I did call them and let them know it showed, but their records are still blank, and have no record as I said. Anyway here she is, very pleased with it especially for what I paid. This should last a long time and cut a lot of firewood for me. Going to put a dual port muffler, dual dogs, and a 20" Total Super Bar on her. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.

    Beautiful 440... Rare to find then that clean and unmolested.

    Funny story (true story)

    I actually was the high bidder on that saw the night before he bought it. My bid was $5 higher than his BIN price the next day (I didn't meet reserve). Seller sent me a message the next day, saying he set the BIN price. Before I checked the message, I got a text from WVhunter, with a pic of the same exact saw. :) I then checked the EBay message. And the seller said he priced it to sell quick and I should jump on it.

    I really don't need another saw, and if anyone else should have won it, it was WVhunter. Congrats bro. With a dual port, that thing will be a beast.

    Thanks Dex, that was actually the 3rd time that saw had been listed. Lol.... The first two times it fell just short of the reserve price. I had messaged him also the night before. When he messaged me back the next morning, I pulled over on the side of the road and bought it from my phone on the way to work. I told you Bro you should go after it a couple of days earlier when I sent you the first pics of it. If you would have got it, that would have been great, but...... I am glad I got this one. Lol... :p

    So I guess we both win :)

    I really am glad you got it bro. You were searching just as hard as myself (probably harder than me), and deserve it more than me. I don't need another 70 cc saw. I just want a 440 because they are no longer made, and I want to build a Hybrid 44/460, and set it up full west coast (basically make my 460 stock and add the 3/4 wrap, large clutch cover, big dawgs, and a 25" Sugi or Tsumara to the 440). That will lighten the 460 back up, and make a mean looking 440 :thumbs:

    Thanks, sounds great Dex. I like the 3/4 wrap, I ordered a 20" Total Super bar today, and am getting a bigger set of dogs, plus the dual port muffler. :thumbs:

    I honestly feel like me and him should have been friends or brothers in another life. In just a short time of texts, PM, etc, it's crazy how similar we think and act.

    I have a few other Brothers from another Mother, and WVHunter is def one of them :thumbs:
