    You read that right. 89 year old customer of mine gave me this yesterday. It was either his grandfather or great grandfather who sold it. December 24, 1894!
    Wonder if that was seasoned, cut and split or log length? Very cool regardless! Just think...no chainsaws. All bucked by hand! IMG_2887.JPG IMG_2888.JPG

    Someone had suggested making a picture frame out of small logs. I like that idea.

    That's about what non premium hard wood brings locally, CSSed with power tools. ($210)
    Its underpriced today and was ridiculously underpriced in 1894. That was real men doing real work.
