Yeah, his paws are as big , if not bigger than Badger's are right now. Since they are almost the same light fox red, I am mistaking Hayden for Badger some times at first glance.
Hayden has his last of his beginner puppy training classes tonight. He graduated, and will go into intermediate next. He's doing well on the leash, which is great. I'll weigh him tomorrow, he'll be 21 weeks then. I'm guessing 54 lbs. He's certainly not any lighter than he was last week.
Holly had put on some weight awhile back and I was calling her chunkie monkey. Since then she has lost some weight so can't call her that anymore.
I need Holly over here. I saw a ground hog yesterday... Wife's not to keen on me using a pellet pistol to fix the issue. It's under my old wood stack behind the garden. Too close for comfort.
Just happen to have a brand new never fired stainless 10/22. It's got iron sights, but I've gut a spare scope laying around. Need a set of rings and a base though. And quiet 22 ammo.
She may be their for days. when it comes to getting them she will lay outside of the hole for hours. She has a lot of patience waiting for the right time.
All I know is that Badger is 70 lbs, and Hayden will be heavier than that. Then again Badger is an American lab. Those go all over the range in weights from 50-120 lbs. English labs are typically 70-110, and just built differently than American labs are.
