Do you have a long bar that you're proud of???

    If so post it here!!!

My longest currently is a 32" which gets run on my Dolmar 7900

My runner up would be a 25" bar on my Stihl 460

I got to make a cut with it. I so wanted to not drop it into dirt at the end of the cut. And didn't

Routinely run a 24” bar but have a 32” for my Echo 8000 that I rarely use, thankfully.

42 on my modded 394. It gets used pretty frequently too. Most people won’t mess with the huge stuff.

It sure was! Hoping to get another one going next year! With all the bs with 2020, sons graduation and other stuff, this year just wasn't doable. I plan on getting to Dave's during his next g2g.

It's a PITA to use it for sure. Flexible, chain is always to loose or to tight, never feel it's oiling enough. Have to use another saw to cut a groove if you're felling or it'll cut a curve. Normally has a 48" bar on the saw.
So I think they stare with sympathy actually.

32" Tsumura on MS461. Since then, I picked up a 36" Stihl ES light but haven't gotten a chance to use it yet.

My 660 wears a 32” considering getting a 36” but haven’t needed it yet. There are couple trees on the in-laws Farm that might need to be felled in the coming years that I will need the extra 4”

What’s a 36” ES light bar and chain cost? Did you get it at your dealer?

Got it used (nearly new). If I recall, it was a good deal, but not a total "you suck." BTW, I switched to a high-output oiler on the MS461.

In this case SIZE MATTERS! I see the pill bottle propping the bar up. Gonna need a lot of aspirins after using that!

36 on my 9010 and also have a 42 but no pic of it I could find. Like The Wood Wolverine said, I get some big stuff because nobody has the bars I do.

Wouldve liked to bought a Stihl bar but didnt intend on using it as much as i have since purchase two years ago. Normally wears a 28" bar.
