Fixed Changing color of sticky threads?

I am just throwing it out there, but I find myself going to look through a forum and many times viewing sticky titles to get to the most recent posts. Would it make viewing easier to change the background on the stickies? Some forums have several stickies, so when I view them, the new posts are more than half way down the screen. Any other user thoughts?

That's a big help with the stickies. I like it. Might not have picked pink, but hey...

 

It was the default option, like I said I still need to tweak the code but that's easier said than done one a mobile. The gold that we highlight new alerts with would be best, IMO.

Here's an idea -- what if Stickies were given a special prefix or marker like the new For Sale / Wanted / Free labels in the classifieds section? Besides being visually obvious, I'm thinking it might give us the option of filtering the stickies out using the thread display options. Can the software be configured to allow users to filter for threads with *no* prefix?
