  1. the pile is about 90 percend red oak and about 10 percent red maple now the whole thing is roughly 15 and half ft long x 10 and half ft wide by 5ft 2 tall 20200816_202240.jpg 20200816_202219.jpg 20200816_202215.jpg

3.3 cords by my back of the napkin math...but sounds a bit high to me based on the pic...
so I'll round my guess down to 3 :stack::stack::stacker:

10x15x5 = 750. 180 cubic feet of loose thrown wood is roughly equal to a cord so 750/180= just over 4 cords.

A pile never seems to deliver a stack that you think is there so I’ll say 2 cords

    15.5 X 5.25 X5.166 = 420.38/ 180 = 2.34 cords. roughly.

Yeah my 3.3 guess was without compensating for "loose thrown"...so I come out the same as you once that is taken into account...

My guess is also 2 cords. Depends how tight you stack it. Grandfather told me it needed to be loose enough for a mouse to run through it but stop the cat chasing it.
