I would think maybe the 441 will be replaced with a FI model. The chop saw is the same cc as the 461 I believe isn't it?
Nope. The FI Saws are 72cc. Engines for the chop saws have been different than the chainsaws since the TS350/400.
It's a work saw... But some may say "hot" is a subjective term... It ran with the 4 cube race saws in KY with good chain, but still can't beat a good quad port 365... They're just nasty..
I have a clean 7900 on the wall that has yet to be violated... Broke in, but not used up.. Would love to see a 7900 spank a few 372's... I know that ain't no small feat in a 10 or 12" cant...
I'm sure we could figure something out with it. Those can be real nasty with some port work. I know JD has a real hot one from Scott.
hedgerows 562xp is a work saw. the 562xp when ported correctly will just make most folks think they are more than a work saw . they are the classic example of less is more.
I agree, I recently had one of Randy's 562's apart and there is not a lot of grinding involved to make this saw what it is. I haven't really been able to do anything other than rev the pizz out of it yet but can't wait to bury it in some wood. Really starting to like this series of Husky.....
The outboard clutch. But that's about my only gripe with it. It's a pretty easy machine to like. So long as the carburetor gremlins stay away from it.
I don't like outboard clutches much either, but I was willing to overlook it in this instance... My carb had a few gremlins to start with, but I just kept running the snot out of it... It seems to have worked it's issues out... The AT is always pecking around to find where it wants to be, but never misses a beat when it's time to make chips...
