Great. We have a really good surge/voltage regulator. The damage came in from the sat dish. Found out the co-ax cable wasn't hooked up to that unit. It will be soon though.

Good morning everyone! We have some cooler days over the weekend, maybe rain late Sunday.
Might take my grandson to the beach Sunday, I love cloudy beach days.
I'm getting some garden beds dug up. It's pretty easy, with the dirt so dry. Anything good, I put in a bucket of water to replant.
Haven't been to Winchester, still waiting for the all clear. Our friend has taken 3 car loads of wood, and I'm getting excited about having some empty stack space!
My yellow cherry tomatoes make really good sauce! I'm freezing it in small batches.
    For T.Jeff... L87lvme.jpg Have a good one!

Morning all. Had a great day shopping and eating out. Got home to still no power so made dinner on the campstove. Fired up the generator to watch the evening news. Just plugged in the refrigerator after the news was over and the power came back on. I hope the upgrade is good for a few years before the next shutdown. Chores today so it will be busy.
    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning.

I just might do a bit of wooding today.

I have a small sound of ash to cut to stove length. I also have a growing pile of crotchy pieces to noodle.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Today's the payoff, I get to replant a garden bed I cleaned out. I'm adding some bagged manure as well. Pics when it's done.
I've been eating white sweet corn from the farm stand. The drought didn't spoil it, I think they irrigated.
There have been a lot of bumblebees this summer. First they were on the catnip flowers, now they're on the oregano and goldenrod.
I've been putting out cooked chicken legs for the possums. There are at least two, a mother and offspring. One of the babies drowned in the pool. They live under the long wood stack next to the pool. Some nights we put the trail cam out to watch them.
It's been a good summer, just need more rain. kyCuAKN.jpg
    Have a safe day everyone!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. I'm off today...woo hop...going to split some hickory and then go to our son's house to plow up his garden, get ready for fall veggies...and he wants me to till around his house to put in flower beds.
Be encouraging, lend a hand, share a smile.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning everyone. Day off from work can only mean one thing here. Yep you guessed it more work.
Only less stressful and more enjoyable. Going to ride up and add to the ash silver maple and small amount of cherry collection.
Have a blessed and great day folks.

On our walk this morning, the words to this old hymn kept going through my mind.

    Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

Daylilies in the back, fancy echinaceas in the middle, a huge quantity of chives in the front, and right up against the walk, all the crocus and grape hyacinth bulbs I dug up.

Power just came back after almost 24 hrs. Big front with wind last night took out a big willow down the street which was just cleared. At least it was cool today.

    Good morning.

I think I'll be splitting some wood I cut yesterday. It'll be interesting to see how the X27, and operator, works after not bring used for a number of weeks.

Then later, perhaps some blueberry pancakes and sausage. Blueberries grown onsite.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy.
