    Thanks, her knee is still mighty sore, the cut is healing, but I think she bruised the bone, still a bit of swelling.

    I can't like dew points in the 80's

    Our DP is down to 66 this morning and it feels much nicer. Windows are open for a while.

    T. Jeff I hope that's your peak temp for the year, and it's all downhill from that! I feel bad for Miz Carol, I know she's a worker and it's frustrating to be hobbled. Make sure she doesn't push it.
    Today I have to bring my car in for service, and coddle my husband. The oral surgeon had to break the old tooth into six pieces to get it all out. Yuck!
    I'll get out in the yard, the humidity is lower today. Still plenty of weeds, and garden beds I want to dig up. I ordered some spring bulbs the other day. They really lift my spirits when winter is over! kOu1u6M.jpg

    Good morning all. Think today will be the hottest for the next 2 weeks. Just barely hitting 80. Then the 70s coming. Hoping it stays cool for s few weeks. Chaz is taking vacation just after labor day weekend to work on wood.
    I have a cart load of elm that needs to go into the staging stack for splitting. Then I will need to load up the cart again.

    Maybe, I'll watch an older Steve Martin movie, " Leap of Faith". Story of a travelling evangelist, with his ministries being in a tent. Decent flick if you've never seen it. Not one of his comedies.

    Duke Energy offers a service here for $9.95 per month. They install equipment and if lightning kills anything electronic after that they will cover it no questions asked. Gonna sign up today. This is the lightning capital of the world. I feel it is cheap insurance.
