    Good morning everyone! We had another great day swimming with my grandson. I'm getting lots of tomatoes! IMG_20200810_17735.jpg
    He likes to pick them, but he won't eat any.
    I'll do what I can outside today. It will be hot and humid through Wednesday. Also I'm going to pick up a wood rack off Craigslist.

    We grew some tomatoes a few years back. Roma and I believe it was called a grape cherry tomato bush. That thing turned out huge. They grew in clusters just like grapes. Like your grandson Molly, I don't eat tomatoes either. Once I started on cooking down the romas for tomatoe sauce, Chaz had me start throwing in a bunch of cherry tomatoes we had so many.

    Stay safe Jeff. My sons got hit with sever thunder storm this afternoon. 100mph straight line winds. Lost all the trees on his property and did some damage to his roof. Of course power is out. Not sure how bad my other son got hit. And their dad is checking on the house he still owns that the kids grew up in. Stay safe.

    The storms came through here last night around midnight. We got about 3" of rain, some strong winds and small hail.

    Up north the weather was beautiful. We had a low of 39f one morning early in the week which was recorded at the Grand Marais, MN airport. Highs were in the 60s.

    This is my only picture from our vacation. It is of the shoreline of lake Superior along highway 61. Of course my wife took a lot more pictures of our granddaughter.

    Weather radio went off at 6:20 this morning with a severe thunderstorm warning for our area. We got .07 inches of rain and no wind to speak of. Some places have gotten hit hard and others not at all. We could use a nice soaking of rain.
