Nope, the oak vault turned over last summer. It went into my basement and out to Pelham in the Bronco. It was immediately replaced with the tree service oak I got last Sept. So that only has one full summer on it now. The stack I want to get gone is this one, along the fence line. IMG_20200809_57641.jpg
The rack to the left is apple. In back of it, and to the right, is a mix of red maple, ash, and who knows what. I'd like to put down plastic pallets insted of the wooden ones, and fill with wood from Dave's place.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Another day at the plant working for me. Off tomorrow, then start back on 7PM-7AM shift. Miz Carol fell bringing groceries in the house last night before I got home. Landed on her knee cap. Got a cut and some swelling going on. She had it bandaged and ice on it. Still swollen a bit this morning.
Guess she will be sitting in the supervisor chair tomorrow...hope she heals soon, hate to see her hurting.

Morning all. Yesterday turned out to be beautiful and dry. I don't know what is forecasted for today but I have to get down to the garden and pick some peas and tame the squash. It is starting to set fruit so I hope trimming off the running vines with encourage fruit growth. We don't have a lot of good weather left for it to grow. Two more weeks of holidays and then it is back to work. Sewing room almost finished. Just a few odds and ends to organize. I want to start on Mom's curtain project pretty quick.
    Everyone have a great day.

Midwinter & T.Jeff Veal ... and any else that cleans pools... what do you use? I’m thinking of get a robotic for cleaning the bottom of the pool. Either I don’t know how to hook one up :hair:or I just am destined for a plug & play system. Currently I use the dip net with more success..:picard:

    Good morning, all.

A quick cup of coffee. A quick shower. And I'm off to the canal.

i have a few different spots in mind, as I'm expecting a fair number of other people being around.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning. We had a great time up north. It was our 16 month old granddaughter's first time up there. They came up for the last three days we were at the cabin. Seeing simple things in nature though her wondering eyes was amazing.

I have a return line in the side of the pool, a suction port. I stick a pool hose in it, and connect the other end to a vacuum head on a pole. Most of the dirt collects in the bowl of the deep end. It always needs a vacuuming after a good rain, but we haven't had much of that this year.
I've thought about those robotic ones, but have suspected that they have their own problems, which I just don't know about.
The manual method takes time, but that's what I have a lot of!
