Well at least it wasn't this kind of fish. A little bit different location to where these live.

Morning fellow Hoarders. Hope all of you and your families have been well this summer.

Been off the forum for a while while we did a down to the studs remodel of the bathroom. Just have to grout the tiles and some minor work left to do.

We had the tropical storm rip through here on Tuesday and it tore up the area. Did more damage than Hurricane Sandy, according to the power company. Didn’t get power back until yesterday around noon. Lots of gas through the generator. Limbs came down all over the property and I needed to get a new chain saw. One I had was shot and the other Stihl had burnt out another igniter. They were hard to find and I managed to get the last Stihl 251 they had left. An 18”, but it worked better than my old one and the easy start makes it nice to work with. One limb hit the pool, but unfortunately it’s still standing, Haha. I hate that thing, but the grandkids like it so the wife says it has to stay. The deck railing got hit and it broke the center post, so now that’s unstable. We’re are blessed we have two sons that are able to help out. My arthritis has been through the wringer and we are grateful for them.

Well, that’s my rant. Had to tell someone and I’m sorry it was so long. I’ll be in and out as we recover and get back to normal.

Thank you.. I traded a snow sled trailer I had for years for a 5x10 landscape trailer and was thinking of selling or trading it for a splitter but im not sure I want to part with it so I better wait for now..LOL... I was buying cut and split but do no the money Id save in log forum would pay for one pretty quick. I may have jumped the gun for now. I got time to think about it..:)

Hi there everybody. Today was elm day. He got both elms bucked up, but for now it is sitting there. Was in the mid 70s I believe when he started and 82 in the shade when he finished.

I sat back in the shade and supervised with a beer but supervision was not needed. Lol

    A little more mowing today.:)
6E439B17-136C-4DCC-A6DB-7A7E2497BC99.jpeg About 95% of the mowing done that needed it. The Kubota is running great! Then took the mower and the three point hitch off and put the backhoe back on. Have those mechanical locking thingys functioning well now so I’ll see if my neighbor can weld that lever back on sometime over the next two days.
