Backfilling with soil is the plan. Haven't decided exactly what will be planted there but that area of the yard is in need of late summer and fall color. I don't have an area that doesn't have some sort of day lily, that bunch just happens to have been there when I bought the house (the native orange type). There are sedum growing in amongst those too, but I've never seen them bloom (probably because I tear them up weeding the grasses out of the lilies).

I lost my phone out of my back pocket while I was riding the bike at about 45 MPH back in 2012. Didn't realize it until I got to work. A guy found it and got ahold of the Ex (married at the time). When I picked it up, it just had a couple of scrapes on the screen protector and you could see the black marks on the case where it had bounced on the pavement. It worked just fine. Wasn't an otterbox, just a $5-10 rubber protector. The screen protector was just that cling film you put on.

My current phone, Samsung Galaxy 9Plus, has a "youmaker" case that has the film built in for the screen. It's funny because I dropped it in the parking lot of Home Depot today. The phone was fine and all I could think about was that this topic coming up on FHC just before it happened.

Literally, those exact words I wrote above 100's of times over the years. The other version is "oh, about 1 football field long" Me: how long is a football field? and do the math. I guess it's true about married couples stuck in their "ways" :picard:

Even funnier our conversation on how to program and run the dishwasher today. I realized what we sounded like if someone were in the room with us, OMG hilarious! He read an article that the first ~1 hour cycle works better, so he wanted to shut my 2:12 hour cycle off and start over (ya, whose ran this all these years?...) Anyway the translation on which buttons to push and the other ones that needed to be held down was

Yep.. A relationship is a team effort, it doesn't work if only one side is putting forth the effort.

Went halves with my best friend on a Cub Cadet 25T splitter.

We both have gotten our money's worth out of it.

We all went for a walk through the woods this morning. Then had a breakfast of Ham and Cheese Omelettes and toast made by my wife. And then home made cinnamon rolls that my youngest daughter made. Delicious. Then I rolled to the couch and we all hung out and talked until my daughter and her husband got on there way back home in the early afternoon. No lunch needed! Then it was grass mowing time. Trimmed up an Apple tree. And did a second short workout with my son. Tired now. Break time and a light dinner. I may need a cold beer later. But, I’m out!

That looks really nice. You got a lot done in 3.5 hrs. Great job.
On the willow root, do you have a reciprocating saw (saw-zall)? It works really well to cut big roots. I don't think it would hurt that tree.

I left my work iPhone on the tailgate of the bronco while loading it today, then closed the gate and it got caught between the gate and the body. Opened the gate and no damage.
