Welcome to the Nuthouse!I’m way behind here. Don’t post as much in the wood bin. For a new guy, you sure know how to post well. At 8 pages of comments and counting, definitely not a stranger and thanks for your advice on the other thread.
Thanks FatBoy85. Glad to help on the other thread. Since I'm a certified firewood junky, this is probably where I'll hang out the most, however I'll pop into the game and veteran sections as well from time to time.
Nice to meet you Glad to have you here! There's a good chance you will recognize people here from other places. Make your self at home!
I've seen one familiar 'face' so far. I'm sure I will see more eventually. Thanks for the welcome wildwest.
I'm jealous. We only got down to a pathetic 60 degrees this morning. Luckily the dewpoint was in the low to mid fifties so it wasn't too bad. Can't wait until 60-degree weather is a distant memory.
Finally got the tractor back today so hopefully I'll be able to get back to expanding the woodlot soon. Perfect timing to get the tractor back with this storm coming in. I picked the grapple up yesterday so needed the forks to offload and had to clean out a culvert before the storm. Depending on who you listen to, we could get between 2-6+ inches of rain and that can be devastating in the mountains. Tractor, chainsaw, and other gear are prepped for debris removal if necessary.
Well Seasoned - any word on when the forum store will be up and running again? The back window of my truck looks somewhat nekkid. Thinking I need one of those fancy FHC stickers to increase the truck's horsepower and repel punky wood from landing in the bed.
First He is a master sergeant he doesn’t have feelings Just say you’re sorry and Buy him a fifth of his favorite unless rules have changed EODMSgt
Canadian border VT, the rules haven't changed. And buZZsaw BRAD won't hurt the one feeling I have left. I think the first time I was called the 'old man' was in the Philippines back in '90 (we had no SNCO's in our 120+ man detachment and I was one of only 9 Sergeants so was made the acting 1stSgt). Definitely heard it a lot in the later years. Getting called the 'old man' was a badge of honor. Of course, there were those days when you felt like one...
