Thanks Zap. Yes, I normally put 3 or close ti 3 cord of wood in the barn in the fall. I tried to get some of that done before surgery but didn't quite get 1/2 cord inside. But I still think I'll be able to finish that before winter. It may take a lit longer to get it done but I think it will help me a lot to be able to do it. I have a little wood yet to split and also have a good friend already lined up to do that. Dang, it surely is nice to have good friends! If things go right,next spring we'll have many, many friends come and will give us more help around the first of May. It's called a GTG and we have a grnd time!
That's good a friend is coming to help. We've been having some cool nights and mornings lately, we had 51 this morning. Your GTG looks like a good time is had by all except maybe the little redhead!
I'll never forget after our first GTG, which was intended to be our only one, just after everybody left that redhead started talking like we should maybe have another one! We've had 50 each morning for a few days now. Looks like only 2 more nights before we're back in 60's at night again.

Get an inversion table, it will save your life. Circulation, compressed spine relief. I have pinched nerves, bulged discs, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease and arthritis. My wife attended a seminar at our local church years ago based off his book and we've tried to adopt some of it over the years. 3 kids growing up faster than weeds are slowly taking their toll on the finances but I am blessed man, as long as we are all together, family is everything!
Im getting slow in my old age Mike. Its been hot and i dont function as well in the heat. Three thumbs up for the play on words though! Usually its the other way around for me, but it would be inappropiate to post that pic on the forum!
