One of the yards we cut on a regular basis has several big pecan trees. Last time we were there a big limb had fallen. I only had our big loppers, so I trimmed off the limbs for the burn pile and set it to the side. We cut that yard again Friday, this time a smaller limb had fell. I was armed with the MS180 though. I cut it up and let Miz Carol haul it to the truck. 0731201148.jpg
What crazy ways have y'all hauled wood?

I loaded a 1200 lb capacity garden cart and pushed it through the woods overflowing with 16” to 4’ length pieces with my wife to the trailer. One would steer and pull, the other push. It held up well, but if the growth were any denser, we would have had trouble finding a path. It took about 5 trips to get it all. 2 loads on the trailer.
The cart was a good purchase, it has a handle that can mount to the garden tractor so I can tow it when it’s too heavy to pull.

If it works then go with it. Us hoarders are the kings of improvision! Does the mower have a chain saw attachment? Can you rig up a winch?

No, but I pull the big limb to the burn pile with it and tow strap.
