I didn't check it...it is pumping fluid out whenever engine is running...not dripping, but running right out of the bellhousing...slows and stops leaking soon after engine is cut off...
I say that because my dad's 98 Taurus did that, and the seal was good, but the vent was plugged. He was certain that the tranny needed to be pulled to replace the seal. He got lucky with the vent being plugged, and that caused the seal to appear to be bad. Hopefully, you'll get lucky too?
I'll certainly check it...that would be a big oops! One of the trucks at work (F550) had a rear wheel seal leaking...jacked it up and get ready to tear it apart...decided I better check to make sure the differential vent was open...took a while to find the end of the line...it had a green rubber (plastic?) cap on it! Been there from brand new! Leak went bye-bye then
Forecast sounds very wet for the next several days. Some other areas south and east of us might get some big rains.
He's putting in a new door to our mudroom/porch (front of house), a couple nails were sticking out a bit so he asked me to hammer them in. They were the nails used to secure the door to jamb for shipping Ya, cats paw now.

Finished it this morning had to wait for it to cool to 20C get the refractometer photo. I mis-compensated for the wet filter and it’s a bit heavy; but it came to more than 3 quarts of syrup. Each jar is about 39oz of syrup or 55oz with the jar and lid. Two of the jars are reused coconut oil jars as saved to conserve canning jars.
