Morning all. Up before the sun so we will have to wait to go on our walk. Went for a drive to scout for firewood yesterday and the A/C on the truck packed it in. Fortunately we were able to make it back to the house without too much trouble. We were up in the interior of the island and it gets quite a bit hotter than here. The whole province is getting hit with a heatwave.

Good morning everyone! Got my babysitting fix in yesterday, so I've got the weekend to play. We had a blast, as usual. There's a boy in there!
Today I'd like to cut up my cherry logs from the other day. It's low humidity, so the sky's the limit!

Happy Sabbath to everyone. Gorgeous day in paradise again. Forecasters are calling for rain but no sign of it yet. Heading out for our walk soon. Most of our walk is through the woods and the dogs love it as they are off leash. Everyone have a great day.

 

We were on gravel logging roads that weren't being used all the time. 60 mph was definitely not an option. It all worked out and now the truck is scheduled for being worked on next week.

 

Good afternoon everybody. T.Jeff Veal actually that is about my normal time to get up. I just not that social early in the mornings. Lol. But I was looking at the weather and seen where the hurricane was headed an wanted to give Brandon Scott a quick shout out. And no new chickens. She actually told me she was not going to get any more as it hurt to much when they died. And Holly has been good. We keep a pretty close eye on her.
Gotta get mowing here pretty soon. Possible fire tonight depending on if the rains hold off.
Molly, your grandson looks like he is enjoying himself.
Unfortunately I decided I won't be going to Iowa for my grandsons 13th birthday. The virus is not slowing down and Iowa is on NY travel ban. Oh well that is life.

 

I understand that, we have a good many dirt roads around our house that dump trucks use to haul sand and clay. You don't drive fast on them either...

 

Good morning. We had a funeral and burial yesterday for my wife's aunt. Great lady, long life, a Catholic Mass, and a fitting beautiful celebration of her life.

My wife and I are heading north for a week in a few hours. Until then...see you all later!
