I took some time today to start working on a wedding present for my sister in law. Im channeling my inner Pallet Pete and re-purposing a pallet. I got a pretty good start on it today tomorrow Im going to stain it probably a sun-bleached stain. I also have an old metal letter B (for their last name) that Im going to put in the center of it and then maybe an Est. 2014 underneath. More pics to come tomorrow when I get stained who knows I might even get it finished tomorrow.

Heres the finished product and another little pallet project the wifey wanted. I went with a smoked paprika stain I tried the sunbleached but just couldnt get into it I didnt feel like it did the wood any justice. The little box I made from the same pallet she wanted it to put soap and lotion in.

Looks great and the happy couple will really enjoy it. I like the colour you picked to stain it.

In Pallet Pete's pallet possibilities thread, there were some great projects posted by SaveMoney on the last page of the thread. there is a link to a website with lots of good ideas. I was browsing through it just the other day. Planters, outside tables, lawn chairs etc. the list is endless.
