Good morning. Timely rain moving in this morning.

 

Morning all. We headed down island to go shopping. Supposed to be hot down there. Dogs are staying home. Nice day gardening with Mom yesterday. Trying to tame the wilderness bit by bit over there. Everyone have a great day.

I got a "little" bit of wood done. Had about a 1/3 to a half of a cart load to split and stack. Got that taken of. Then after Chaz left for work I went up and started loading up some maple to take care of. When my brother was helping Chaz last year and brought it over from the other side of the pipeline he stacked it in one of the worst places possible. The area is the old logging road. When it rains hard and in spring we can have a little stream coming down through there.
I started with the small limbs and actually had to use another limb to knock it loose from the mud. But now I am getting onto some of the bigger pieces and quite a few are up off the ground and looking good. Bark is coming off.
Took that load down to the splitter to get the bigger ones staged to be split and just stack the limbs. Just as I got there and it started to sprinkle. As I have a 2600 dollar o2 machine on the front of the ATV I stopped long enough to cover up the splitter and headed to the house.
It is now sitting in the cart and will wait for another day.

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Time to get up and enjoy the day...GOD is so good. I woke up and can get up, so I'm blessed already. Got 2 more days to work this week.

Overcast this morning so at 5;30 AM it is quite dark out. Days are getting shorter. Heading out for our walk this morning. Spent the night dreaming about making a couch cover for Mom out of the 9 meters of material I bought on sale yesterday. It will have to wait until tomorrow. Other things to do today. Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon all. 71 for the high today. Well the rain came in. Mostly to the north and south of us. Did get just a real light shower earlier. Probably will go stack and stage the maple I got yesterday. Might bring some more down.
