    No doubt, sweeeet!

I have an old mouse infested Wheel Horse (703, 704 ??) Down in my small shed, has a plow, maybe some chains. Haven't seen her run in 25 years or more!

So, are you planning this out? Soft sided cooler should be asked to fit in the top case, or on the rack for it.:)

looking to buy a stick burner myself but just can't seem to find what I am looking for.
Almost pulled the plug and ordered a Lang reverse flow last week but held off. Still undecided on what to do.

If anyone has any suggestions for a good reverse flow at a reasonable price I am open to suggestions

I'm committed to riding out that way Sunday to deliver a saw I just sold. I'll Google them and see of open.

I'm pretty sure I'm really going to like this style smoker (offset heat). Reverse flow would be a bonus so I'm just as interested as you for comments.

Would be an excuse to come up this way and maybe we can have a mini-GTG?

Just bought my son a table top grill much like that small part of yours in the left. It’s a Chargriller from TSC and we got it at a discount. Has nice cast iron grates and for a small grill is a heavy rascal. $50 can’t beat that I don’t guess and it’s made heavier than those I seen at the local Gillmans hardware.
I’d like to find him an entire smoker:grill like that one you found.

His b-day was today...14... and he’s confiscated my grills as well. He loves to cook and I’m going to nurture it. Going to buy him a lodge table top as well when I can find them back in stock. I do want to get home a nice large charcoal grill also.

    Just seen this post tonight.

I've got the same grill/smoker The Wood Wolverine

$60 is a great price on it

I paid a bit over $100 for ours back in 2010, and have used it a lot.

The only complaint I have is that the thing has air gaps everywhere which doesn't help when it comes to temp control.

First time I tried to slow down the temp rise, smoke billowed from every seam. I figure if it turns out I like and use it enough, I’ll get a better one. As you stated, $60 was a decent price to find that out and IMO it’s not worth it to try and tighten it up. The lid for the firebox has wonky hinges and prop. Those two things I do not like but they shouldn’t present too much problem. They were bent a bit away from the body and the lid was traveling past the stopper. I got it back a little to work but it’s not perfect. Good enough for what it’s for I guess.

If we were closer, I’d give you one of my water smokers. It’s cool to hear of his interest at a young age.

Thanks for the offer. Sounds cool. Never heard of them I don't think. Wish I was closer. Have a friend in Delta that comes back home every now and again. LOL!!

Yeah...our son was standing on a chair in front of a stove since he was old enough to hold a spatula. He's quite the cook and has recently fell in love with grilling. He absolutely loves doing it. In fact, I helped him season up is cast iron grates in his new table top yesterday and he grilled some steaks for us last night. He was worried about not having a thermometer and I told him he needs to learn how to cook without one until we can get him one. He did great and the steaks were awesome. How many of you can say your son has grilled you steaks on his birthday? LOL!! Should have been me grilling for him, but he wasn't having it. LOL!!!!

Yes! I “cut my teeth” on that method. But quickly learned those times needed adjusted for different size racks.
Wife told me we’ve had apple sausage before so wherever it was made must not be as epic as what you have because it didn’t stand out enough for me to remember.

The pan right above the heat holds liquid. Sometimes I use apple juice, cola, water. I’m not able to use ale because my wife and son have severe wheat allergy.

How much are they? That is sweet!!! Been wanting a charcoal smoker anyhow. I have Charbroil Big EZ that is similar (gas). Seems about similar in size.
