Got a bunch of my own. One of our g-daughters was here for a couple weeks and we just took her home so she could go to Cedar Point with the rest of 'em.
Miss her already.

It always amazes what they know at that age. Hold on tight, she'll be all grewed up soon and living in another state and she won't be your little girl anymore and you won't be Superman to her, trust me I know

Very true. My daughter is 12. Last weekend she asked to go fishing. I didn't hesitate to take her for a second. I figure the days of her actually wanting to go places with dad are numbered now that the teenage years are fast approaching.

"Her smile makes my heart melt.. " ... Dad - daughter love is on a different level than almost all others. Whether they're 3 or 33. My daughter, her honey and both of their boys were here for a couple days. We're blessed in so many ways, but just having them fairly close by is a big one. Here's to you and your baby girl... my favorite "Daddy's little girl" tune... btw, I bawled like a baby at my lil girl's wedding...

 

Yeah, I'm not watching that.

We had plans to do things with the kids on the 2nd and 3rd but they got rained out. So when it was raining again on the 4th we decided to take the kids down to Boston to the New England Aquarium. We should have known better. When we got there the line for the aquarium was over two hours long so we just paid $36 to park and grab a bite to eat at Faneuil Hall without going to the Aquarium. The worst part about it was that during the whole ride down I kept telling my son and daughter about the sharks they were going to see and then they never got to see them. The pics are from lunch at Faneuil Hall:

It was Greek food, (our family's favorite). What looks like pizza is actually a gyro. But a little word of advice for anyone visiting Boston, as I tried to tell my wife, parking in the garages and lots right next to the event centers, museums etc is like your first week in prison, there's no way either leaves you with a smile on your face. Better to park on the outskirts and take the T to where you're going.

$36 to park for a little over an hour......I almost had a coronary!

 

Thanks for the clarification on the food. Looked like pepperoni pizza.
For $36, they should put a couple gallons in and wash the car too.
I know where I'm not going anytime soon.
