I bought an antique wardrobe years ago, the $$ was right and it fit perfect to store my fish stuff (aquariums and fish breeding) in our home office. We moved it in and both of us sat to it for too long, the grain is the wood was REALLY creepy! It worked great but we could not stand the mirrored image in both door of the creepy figure and eyes in the knots of the tree it was slabbed from. I gave it away for free, and warned them about the creepy image in the wood grain. Maybe they painted it. Sigh, eeeeeewwwwww

    FAITH STORIES

It is amazing how quickly we forget or dismiss the ways God has been faithful to us. We become distracted, self-sufficient, or focused on a new problem. God knows these human tendencies. That is why He asks us to actively remember His blessings. He takes it one step further by instructing us to share these stories with our children. Children learn from example. If parents model a faith that is alive and real, it will have incredible influence on them.

Ephesians 6:16 talks about taking up the shield of faith to defend against the evil one. Your family's shield of faith can be constructed with stories of God's faithfulness and provision.

Take the time to communicate to your kids the many ways God has blessed you. It is an affirmation for you and an example to them.

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
    Deuteronomy 4:9 NIV

the weather was fantastic! I had a 2.25 hour trip to southwest VT in the morning. Over half was back country roads. It was nice to cruise with the windows down for a change! Shortly after I got home my wife took an order for a kitchen, so I took advantage of the weather and threw it together without pouring sweat.

Today is a delivery day. I have to pick up a rental trailer, then make a delivery in Merrimack, then up 93 to Franklin, NH to deliver two to a preschool, then over to Alton Bay for a lake house delivery. If I have time, I might shoot down south of Boston and drop the last one off instead of doing it tomorrow.

This herbicide is a bit different than the one your talking about. It's no different than what's used in agriculture, basically on every acre of production agriculture here that produces all our grains etc. Unless that is you buy all organic. Chemical has been used for 40 years .

But there are some bad ones and have been some.

Recovery slow. I'm wanting to be able to do some things. Anf this 5 lb limit for 6 mo really gets my goat. Then there is my lovely wife constantly reminding me...

Yeah we had a lot of rain yesterday. 3" in a couple hours.
I kept hearing a weird bonk every so many minutes. That bonk was my sump pump and the anti back flow valve. All good, happy that it's working properly after installing a new one this spring. Basement is dry.

Recovery from the the pneumonia is good, except I am so short of breath. Just walking to the bathroom leaves me huffing and puffing. I have to loose weight. That is what needs to happen. Still no date for the pulmonary functions test.

I hope you can do it, Larry. I keep batches of bean salad and gazpacho in the fridge, for a quick meal.

Glad to hear you are recovering and listen to Judy. If she didn't love you, she wouldn't say a word.

With my breathing issues I got me a pedometer. That way, especially winter, I can see how many steps I am doing. That way if I am having a way to lazy day, I can start doing what I call laps. It helps keep me going.

Decided the best thing I can do with the bedroom floor is to do nothing. It isn't level, but it is fairly flat. Not ideal, but there is no realistically feasible way to get it dead level, the most I can do is remove 3/8 inch of the high spot. Not really worth messing with.

Going to try to nail down hardwood tonight.

Hi Molly. I love bean salads, but have to be careful of the added sugar. there are a number of bean salads recipes available. Gazpacho, I don't ever recall having. Looked that up. We have a VitaMix so the Gazpacho shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the suggestions. Stay well.
