Washington and Oregon have been voting by mail for years/decades.
Washington catches about a hundred fraud voters every election mostly supposedly due to the detection system they have in place. This isn't evidence the system doesn't work, it's more likely evidence that it does. There's a criminal element to all human activity and the mail-in system is showing promise as the least abused system while simultaneously encouraging voting.
That said, good luck putting this system in place country-wide by November and educating everyone how to utilize it, I doubt it can be done.

As far as multiple ballots being sent to a single address they have to do this to ensure no accusations of disenfranchisement and voter suppression. Voter fraud doesn't happen until someone uses aballot they are not entitled to.

We have much the same process. I live in such a small community that I personally know the school secretary. I told her she she start looking for a real job. Everybodys vote is known at the bar by six the next day. We sign on a big green blank spot on the back of the envelope. All the cronies are worried because 75% of the kids will not be returning to gov school. No more money for the teachers union! We are broke enough.

I cant remember where I heard it, but it was something for the primary election last month, someone won by a couple votes, but then the USPS delivered some more ballots, "too late" (even though they were postmarked "not late") and those ballots would have given the other guy the win...but the "late ballots" were deemed to not count...uhyeah...vote by mail they say...nope.

I still intend to vote in person.. mask on.. ID in hand.

I think ID should be mandatory, if they can check it when I buy beer, they can check it when I vote.

Although I am not in favor of voter ID laws that go into effect for a soon upcoming election.

If someone can't be bothered to get proper ID in the 2 years till the next election, then voting is obviously not a priority to them.

Last time I went to vote I had my ID in hand. The lady said it wasn't necessary to show. I said it is for me and I believe should be.
As far as voting by mail. LOL
No way will it work or does work. Just like those who want to be able to vote via internet. How many times have you seen a story where they just happen to "find" a bunch of mail in ballots that were
    misplaced

Using a system as designed is hardly voter fraud.

You need (some form of) ID write a check or open a bank account.
You need a (government issued) ID to drive to the polls. There's no reason you can't prove that you live in a district before voting.

    NO!
    It opens up ballot harvesting.
It is the main reason Colorado will never be red again.
The Dems organized a small army to go out and get ballots from...
say nursing homes. We're just helping you out.
A quick conversation to get an idea how the person voted....
oh, conservative.....ballot never makes it to the box.

    NO!

Same here! If I can stand in line at the grocery store with a mask on I can stand in line with a mask on to vote for our country's leader which is way more important IMO!

Which is the same as saying...
    Yes there is voting fraud.
So...i guess we should be asking, how much fraud is too much?

    Yeah...that'll work out well.
Kinda what one side is already proposing in a way...just let us take care of you...like most will ever vote for the other party again after that...or by the time you change your mind/have buyers remorse, too late, President Daddy changed "his/her rules" again, and you don't have a say anymore cause I made this new law and the rest of the minions in office approved it...skeery! :startled:
