My wife and dogs got me a lacrosse weather station for Father's day. It's pretty slick. I can't wait to see what it shows after it's been set up for a week and can show trends.

Skeeter, is that VP2 set up to give indoor DP but outdoor RH? Is that a user option or did Davis do it?
I use a Vantage Vue which is the opposite. And I'm located in a very humid place so we live and die on that dew point reading. (E.g DP was 79 here yesterday). Summertime temp is secondary for me.

The last I checked NOAA is calling for 0.50 - 1.00 inch of rain for our area, we need more but we'll take it.

We had 93 for a high at the house and 95 out on the road when I went to fill up the car.

    Stay Safe.

We hit 94 today before the clouds started to move in and start dropping the temps, we are getting a breeze but nothing that would make me shut the a/c off.

We did get some rain overnight but the steady rains just started with the heavier stuff starting in about 12 minutes if Accu is correct.

Nothing from the above for this area, we do have a nice steady rain falling at the moment. If the rain lasted overnight and tomorrow, that would help out some.

I'm guessing but I think we're behind by about 5 or 6 inches from our normal rainfall totals. Usually August is our dry month, we'll see what happens this year.

We had a nice hard rain for about 40 minutes after supper, this week looks like it will be on the wet side which is good. Hopefully it's wet enough so I can burn in the outside fireplace unless our County extends the burn ban.

Lots of thunderstorm activity here this afternoon. Severe warnings Southern NH by the seacoast and N.E. MA, just east of us.

A few pics within the last hour.

Looking north. The low clouds above the tree line were moving a little faster. I kept an eye on that one. Curtains of downpours behind it. MA/NH border got this one.
