Thanks goes out to all of you. I've read many posts asking about it so here goes. Monday morning at 4:00 we headed to Saginaw to Assention St Mary's for surgery on my neck. It has been painful for many years and we tried to treat it without surgery. But we finally ran out of options. It was planned to have this done last winter but we hit one snag after another and then the final snag was a nasty virus and hospitals could not do surgeries. So surgery was done on 7/6. 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Can you imagine what Judy through? 10 hours is a long time especially when 3 hours was expected. To be short I'll just say it was pure HE dbl L. This was my 14th surgery and by far the most painful and it appears this surprised everyone. Surgeon say probably because so long laying head down. Could be; don't know. Incision was made on front of neck. Fortunately by next morning was better. Better now that I am home. I am left handed but now I can not write nor type as this has screwed up my left side. I have to learn to hunt and peck on keyboard. Hope that will improve quickly. Again thanks to all for their concerns and prayers. I thought you might like the picture especially with the antlers!
So glad you’re back Dennis! And although there are setbacks and lingering pain, we all know that Ornery One will have you up and at ‘em in no time. We love y’all like grandparents!!!! Now- have that awesome bride of yours fry you some fish!!!
I hope he gets his smile back soon... kinda looks like a curmudgeon in that pic- and we know that’s not how our Dennis is! For those FHC folks that have never met Dennis (or Judy for that matter), he has a laugh that warms your soul to hear it.
dennis sorry for the pain you went through, hope it goes away soon, take care,i thougt of you 9 0clock our time.on monday
well at least it's behind you now, only way to get better. Sit inside stay cool and get on with your recovery. If you or the Mrs. need anything you know you just gotta ask.
I hope your feeling better soon Backwoods Savage and the hand thing clears up in time. Still an old horny sun of a gun.
What everybody else said. You look good. Now don't go getting cranky with Judy. She's been there for you a really long time. Mumbling men can be such a pain when they don't feel good.
Get well soon Dennis. I hope you don't rush it. I know how you can hear your chores calling you. Just let them rest right where they are. You want this surgery to give you the best outcome.
Hope you have a full recovery. Your rear end will be on that milk crate splitting before you know it.
We are praying for a very good recovery and wish all goes well. Say hello to Judy. The FHC family is glad this is behind you.
