Great stuff Dave! The kids wont know these names but Clint and Eastwood or Charles and Bronson could be a thought
We named our cats Scamp and Sassy, Kids like those names. But for hounds, how about Banjo, Rebel, Homer, Boomer, Duke, Hank, Jethro
Lots of great suggestions, in the end it was a group family decision, so the new pups are Oakley and Jackson. Here is the whole pack Bailey, Oliver!, Oakley, Jackson, and Willow.
Nice looking family. Are those bells on their collars? We did that for a while. Took them off because the my adult kids gave me crap over it. I liked knowing where they were.
The bells also help to give the wildlife a little warning. I put bells on the pups yesterday and they freaked out, it's fun watching their reaction to all the new things, overall they are pretty mellow .
I don't know if it is true but judging from the size of the feet on Jackson (dog on the right?) he is going to be bigger than the other two.
Wow they're growing up to be big boys now. I love how you get them to stand at attention up on the porch
Probably someone waving treats around and that's what they are staring at. They do pose great, don't they?
Nice looking family! The cinnamon one with the dark muzzle and huge floppy ears is especially attractive. You have your hands full, but you also know that once trained, you have some fantastic pets. I've two labs and three cats. I don't know why, but after I brought home the rescue cat, my other two cats became more friendly. The dogs mostly ignore the cats except one male cat and the female dog seem to have bonded. Please continue sharing pictures and adventures. Thanks
Dave, do you have a recent picture of the pets. Anxious to see how they have grown and next to the the older larger one.
About a month ago Jackson (58lb) is approaching Oliver! (65lb) he might end up bigger, Oakley the brown and white one is probably going to be a little smaller, he is very lean and lanky This was our attempt at a family Christmas card picture, none of them came out to my wife's approval, this was the best. It's funny we didn't plan the black jacket thing. It's funny you say that, I sometimes address my children with their first and middle name, the habit has rolled over to the hounds as: "Oliver!-T" for Trouble, self explanatory "Willow-B" for Boss, she is the dog Alpha...this usually comes out as "Willoughby" "Bailey-G" for Girl, because she is such a girl...sorry ladies "Jackson-L" for Lazy, he is going to be the ultimate lazy hound "Oakley-D" for Doofus, he just is
