No problem, but that is the last.

I have become really good friends with the bait store owner. I have known him for 13 years but we have become buddies. He is from Thailand and his wife is always sending me home with Thai food.

He said I can put a beehive on his place down the road. Share with him of course. The taste will probably be orange based but this state is covered with flowers and trees.

Good morning. We are celebrating our oldest child's 29th birthday today. She is coming over with our son-in-law and granddaughter. I am making her one of her favorite meals - fried bluegill fillets, homemade tartar sauce, fried potatoes and onions, fresh garden salad, and a fresh garden strawberry pie.

My wife and I are hitting the road north early tomorrow.

    Good morning.

I'll be putting a new window air conditioner in place at my folks. I'll have a buddy with me for an extra pair of hands.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Going to do more roof work on our son's house. Worked on the XL woodshed a little yesterday morning, picked up a cabinet for our daughter, then loaded up and cut a trailer load of smaller hickory, oak and couple cherry. 0626201732_HDR.jpg

Glad you will be getting bees back into your life!
I have a bottle of African honey, it has a molasses flavor, and a teaspoon fixes heartburn.

Good morning all. Was spreading manure yesterday until the web decided to not move on one load. What's worse than no manure spreader? One that is full and won't unload itself! Got a good rain last night (heavy storm went North of us). Not going to mess with forking off the load in the spreader today. Going to take it a little easy and enjoy. You all have a great weekend and be safe and stay healthy.

That story sounds like the opening of my story about driving a tractor. I was in grade school and I was friends with an older teenager who lived on a farm. It was the middle of winter and he was spreading manure. I went with him and as we were going across this field with about a foot of snow on the ground, he saw the manure was not getting thrown out by the beaters. He deftly got off the seat and stepped across on the drawbar, grabbed a pitch fork and said to me, "here, you drive". I was glad the field lwas flat and I didn't have to do much more than steer, but I was still a bit scared. The tractor was a Farmall M set up tricycle style. Not the safest way to be introduced to driving but looking back, it was fun.

    Good morning, all.

It actually rained yesterday, with more in the forecast for today and tomorrow.

So, indoor puttering will be in order.

Good morning everyone! We never did get any rain, it all went south. I got a lot of weeding done yesterday. Today the grandson is coming up, so we'll be in the pool until the thunderstorms start... if they do. Since my grandson and his parents have been home together for a few months, he's got a little separation anxiety when he comes up here for the day. Starts watching out the window for his daddy to come in the late afternoon. I can distract him somewhat. fW8t3XS.png
    Have a nice Sunday.
