    Well Father's Day didnt end to well. My hunny was taking our oldest daughter home when one of the local GA Ditch Donkies decided to run in front of her.
    Messed her car up bad, luckily neither of them were hurt and air bags didn't deploy. I went down and checked on them, deputy came for the accident report, deer was still alive, laying in the road. As we were leaving, darn deer got up and ran in the woods.     Thanks y'all. That's what I told her this morning, 3 things to be thankful for...1- she didn't have time to swerve and maybe roll the car
    2- air bags didn't deploy and hit them in the face
    3- her car is new enough to get fixed, My truck would be totaled.

    T.Jeff Veal, sorry about the car, wonderful info on the family! Amazing, shoot them out of season and the state owns them and charges hundreds if not thousands of dollars of restitution. Hit it with your car and the only sound from the state is the sound of crickets. Had four bucks bed down in the front pasture last night. Haven't mown it yet. Ditch donkeys, love the description!

    Glad everyone is okay!

    Cars are made these days to basically blow apart so the energy is dispersed instead of absorbed. Old cars might have had a scratch or small dent, but new cars get dents just by sneezing close to them.
