I understand why you put one on but wont that add to an already heavy saw? What are they made from? Aluminum?

With the weight of that saw.. You'd likely never notice that little extra

Yes they are aluminum and weigh very little. Everyone complains about a saw being heavy. I always thought that the logs were the heavy part of the deal.

New muffler is really open 0622202026b.jpg other openings are a good bit larger too. 0622202026d.jpg 0622202026c.jpg
All assembled 0622202034.jpg I think it sounds pretty good, hope to see how much better it does soon.

Loosing the puppy teeth really helps keep it from mashing it's face in the log. Originals must come set up for telephone pole cutting.

My Rural area gets Big time neglected, recently my 543XP sat at the sort center in Troutdale, OR for 6 DAYS, less than 30 miles from my house:mad:

The tracking info showed something like "Delivery Exception, NO ATTEMPT MADE" repeatedly:hair:

That White Truck with the "X" on the side, seriously SUCKS

    Doug

Glad you finally got it. I se t a box of beautiful wood pieces to a friend in Boise, Idaho for knife handles, USPS PRIORITY...should have been there in 2-3 days...2 weeks later, he gets part of the flap with label in a plastic bag, said "we care".
