Mad, but dying to see you at the same time. Typical women.

My lawn mower, it was running just swimmingly and then bang, it stopped running and a bunch of oil leaked out.
It seems the con rod snapped and punched a nice hole in the case.

Well I found a great deal on CL for a "new" mower, got a Toro self propelled for $60.
It was in good shape, just needed a tune up and cleaning.

I am waiting for either my push mower or rider to die. The push sounds like its about to throw a rod, but the damm thing hasn't yet. Once one of those goes, I am thinking 48" walk behind commercial unit. I will have to move some of the current obstacles around, but doing so I bet would cut my mowing time in half.

Had a Toro 52" walk behind that I loved. It was quite a rig. I added a tow bar to it to haul with the 4x4 when I wanted to. Sold it in 2005. Really stupid move. I hear it still is running like new... :headbang:

My 14PZ (5hp Briggs Quantum) has been running with a bottom end knock for the last 10 years that I've owned it. I figure it'll go another 10 years or maybe 10 minutes.

Nothing thankfully..... ;) Dad & I finally fixed the ol' JD 110 2 weeks ago,new points/condenser.Decided to see how it worked by getting started on much needed mowing of the main trail, around processing/stacking area, parking area & hauling in 4 loads from the Hickory snag I dropped on 6/21.Hope to finish everything else up in a week or so...
