    Perfect. We rarely get into single digits. Wood stove will be right on the other side of a set of French doors from his bedroom. A little fan and he will be toasty on even the coldest nights.

    A little something extra... We put this sink into our basement where wife has a her pottery studio and I have my woodworking shop. This will be so very convenient. We didn't have any running water in our basement before this.

    Plumbing finished and FINAL INSPECTION PASSED. The builders can start putting the kitchen in on Monday. It had to go in after final inspection complicated reasons.

    By now, your FIL and your wife must be getting pretty excited about the big move coming soon. We had the honor of doing a similar project in 1989, for my folks. Very rewarding to help our parents navigate the later years of their lives. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

    Yes, he's excited to move. It's definitely rewarding. Hard work, but rewarding.
