Good for you Ralphie. Now you have to get busy. Hopefully you can get it done before any road trips. Or have you cancelled the trip for this summer?
I live out of the way as well. It does say there have been 69 deliveries within 50 miles of me in the last 30 days.
I heard saws this morning, and a very loud chipper. Unfortunately they were removing the huge ancient old arborvitaes across the street. I could tell by the smell before going out to the street to eyeball it. They're stacking neatly cut rounds. I don't need want them.
Still waiting. I have been signed up since Nov. and have reupped twice. Ralphie Boy did you pay the, I believe it was, $20 fee/donation when you signed up? As I understand you are paying the Arborist's dumping fee with the$20. By the way. Nice drop.
I did this time but my first drop I didn't pay. By the way, while we were out they dropped again. Pictures to follow soon. Neither Chip Drop or the arborist charged me for today's second load. I phoned the arborist and thanked him for a great load of logs. He said they would be working this job for 3 days and if I wanded more he'd send it. I said I take all he could send, so, we shall see.
We are changing plans and taking a couple of short cycling trips and some hiking, up Mt. Marci in NY. The camping option is different from state to state making a long cycling trip difficult to plan. We leave for NY tomorrow so wood processing is on hold for a while.
