No we're on our own mound system. I don't like to call them a garbage disposal, because you really shouldn't send anything close to garbage down it.

The most would be little bits of food and that's about it. No bones, nothing like that. Until the old one stopped working, and leaking at the same time, we have not had an issue with how is used.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like fun. I did replace a float switch and some wiring on the lift pump area thingy once. Saved me a few hundred after some lightning damage once. Stuff got melted from that lightning strike.

Boating today! It’s going to be a little cool but it’s time to knock the cobwebs off. Got all the cooling hoses clamped back on, replaced battery and oil in outdrive last night. Have a good day hoarders.

No chit was never made contact with when this happened. Luckily. I was smart enough to put the new float switch on a piece of pvc, and I then secured the PVC to something that was already in the access hatch with HD zip ties. The electrical fun was all above chit level and outside of the concrete cover. I used all new water proof electrical box and it all went together nicely. Much better than what was in it for protection from the elements. It's passed every inspection since I repaired it. Honestly, I'm surprised that that old electrical box passed inspection before we bought the place.

The only thing that happened during all of this was that the high level light was lit for the crock, or whatever you call it where the float switch and pump to the leach field is. Once I replaced the switch and that wiring with fried plug, it all worked as it was supposed to.

Canadian border VT had a whole lot more fun with his septic system than I did.:hair::doh:

Yeah, yesterday's weather was chilly for this time of the year. Today's already better here, and tomorrow looks pretty nice. We'll get out on the lake tomorrow when it's supposed to be in the low 70's and full sun.

It didn't even get to 60° for us by the lake yesterday. Inland, by Janesville, which is closer to the Illinois border in the center of the state, it got to 86°.

OMG. Please keep it all there! Dang I hate that kind of weather. Much better weather like we're having today. 60 now and probably won't get much warmer. Sweet!

Getting it done today. Started hauling 3/4" t & g plywood up to the attic. Heavy pulley attached to the attic collar tie and good rope. Now we have a good deck to walk on up there. Old 1930-ish pine flooring went down via the rope. looks like progress up there. My buddy loves helping on these stunts. Delivered some of the old wide flooring to BIL so he can make a piece of furniture or something.
