    They were small trees, but I liked them. Planted them myself about 8 years ago. Cut them the rest of the way off, hook the quad up to them, and drug them into the woods.

    Well my plans went hay wire this morning. When I left the house it was 70*. Took Holly for a run. Went to stack a cart load of ash. Full sun. Got about half done and I was done. Was going to just pile up the rest of the ash on the pallets, still full sun. Happen to look at weather and made executive decision. I am sitting right here on my porch and drinking beer. Tomorrow high around 68*

    If my neighbor across the street doesnt let their stupid little incessantly barking dog in the house soon, I am going to go over and kick the door open to let him in myself. Little bastard has been high pitch barking for 5 minutes straight.

    I love that they always take him out on the boat so he can bark at every boat on the water too.

    Happy 26th WWW, we going shopping for patio flowers. Happy Silver 25th Anniversary to Dad's Wife too!

    Backwoods Savage , I was going to send her a silver locket, engraved "25th" and more from my Dad but I could not decide on the engraving, so, gift certificate "from him". Also, I got her a ring in October, they set his ashes under the stones. That arrived yesterday!! Day before our Anniveraries!! Now she'll always have him with her. The stones are not real, but look real, she got December (Christmas was their favorite holiday), her birthstone, and June, which is his birthday, anniversary.

    Unfortunately we have two dogs that go out and bark but it doesn't last long. Keeps the bears and two legged animals out of the yard.

    The second storm of the day is passing through now. Power went out some time ago. They are estimating it to be back on in a couple more hours. The rain will be good for our berries.
