    Never looked at those catalogs as a kid. Didn't have much, didn't expect much either. No tv, no bike, but we were warm and never hungry. I more than made up for that when I got out on my own. But no regrets for what we didn't have.

    We got them in the mail for some reason. We where poor too but I still remember the one order my parents made. It was a bedroom suit for their room and it took them years to save for it. When it showed up everybody handled it like it was crystal even though it was solid wood and probably would have broken the floor first! :rofl: :lol:

    I have a set of furniture in the camp that my parents told us went with the camp when we bought it. It is all old Oak hardwood. Couch and several chairs, coffee table, etc. Great stuff. They got it from either Sears or JC Penny. I will have to ask them again. I forgot. Dam C.R.S. :rolleyes:
