My wife loves Mulberries, she has even made pies. The house where her mother had lived had one in the back yard next to the garage on the alley. I always parked in front of the house on the street... purple tinted bird doo polka dots don't look sexy on any car or truck... If you gotta park there, at least roll the windows up...
We made a cobbler with them a few years ago...turned out pretty good...maybe not quite as good as blackberry cobbler, but still
Well, this thread turned out to be very interesting. When I first posted, I was not sure if it was Mulberry or Osage Orange (Hedge) or Butternut LOL Bottom line, I don't know for sure what species it is but it really has been a learning experience to read all of the posts. These FHC Forums have been a resource for me. I learn alot, throw in my 2 cents now and then and enjoy the threads and posts. Thanks to all out there.
