Too dry in Downeast Maine for the brush piles burns. Though with standing water from the past month's rains and fog for the past few days, the biting things love it. Breeding like ........ May be time for the screen suits again.
70* at 7 PM here. Beautiful dry day. Humidity from yesterday gone. Hardwood nuggets, bark, and scrap framing lumber in the firepit. We cook with charcoal and use it to start it. Usually 2-3 times a week.
The last 2 nights have been in the 50's; good sleeping weather. Yesterday got up to 72; a beautiful day indeed! 72 now and forecast low 80's this afternoon. Tomorrow does not sound good at all but the end of this week sounds great! One day not even to 70.
six inches of wet snow last night. up to 41 now. Hopefully this white stuff will melt in a couple days. The wifes flower beds are smashed.
Some will. I am a big believer in perennials, but she gets exited understandably after 9 months of cold. Our choke cherry trees are almost touching the ground.
Not going to be cold here. 92 expected today then rain. Remnants of that tropical storm. That probably means the dewpoint will be soaring soon and I hate that. When it gets too bad, I say goodbye and just stay in the house. EDIT: Stay in house and wish I still lived in the UP of MI where it is almost always much cooler.
64* burning calories here in Denali National Park. 4 month old Callen’s first hike, what better place on earth? Hope everyone is well
From what I can tell he's a cutie. I could tell in the park sign you were holding him. Good to see you back after your rough winter. Are you building a new home.
