I’m with you! I was out stacking today for a couple hours and totally soaked. Mid 80s, full sun, but it wasn’t too humid. Sweating like crazy!

My son and I processed a portion of the logs a week ago Thursday while I was on PTO. Swamp city. Unfortunately I have no other choice. Need to get those logs out of the way to build the shed now on skids. From I see in our weather schedule, we are not looking at many if any cool days ahead. I guess I might have to think about chaps with shorts. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

We've had a few hot days so far. Took down 10 trees that day. 0523201626.jpg

I sure you could have! Those are some serious temps you’re dealing with down there, Jeff! I bet it feels good to be getting so much done despite the heat. Stay safe:thumbs:

I will cut wood in the heat because that is the only time we are allowed up into the mountains for falling trees.

They have not opened up the National forest offices here yet so I cannot get any firewood permits and they do not know when they will open. I guess they are afraid I might give the trees the corona virus plague.
    CRAZY.

You know yesterday at our house it was 73. I don't normally go to Home Depot for anything if I can avoid it. Personal reasons. As I said, we left our house at 73 degrees. Home Depot is 20 minutes north, northeast of us. About 10 minutes into the ride, the truck is telling me the outside temp is 84. It never gets old for me. We live a mile and a half from the ocean as the crow flies and we get the cool breezes off the ocean. Coming home on RTE. 1 in my town you pass the old police station. Across the street is where the Upper Pond is that stretches down to Point Judith pond which has the breachway to the ocean protected by the breakwaters built by the army corps of engineers. Right after that RTE 1 turns south and heads towards the ocean and the temps drop rapidly. Never fails. 84 hit 77 at the old police station. 73 at Jerry Brown farm about 2 miles from the old police station.

Now we often run 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the state. However; that does not prevent us from being muggy and or sticky. Our downstairs this time of year will get a sheen of wetness on the tile if we don't run either the humidifier or the air conditioner. Which ends up being the air conditioner as the humidifier makes it too warm.

years back id rotate 3-4 white shirts while on the roof. Change one on every break. My ladder racks were drying racks.

Send some of that warm weather my way, would you please? 80 degrees would be just about right, but anywhere between 75 and 90 will work.
