    Seems like too many of us are getting too much rain. We're in line for more tomorrow. But this heat and humdity and high dew points are getting to me.

    Oh how I wish I could send it. We could go for 10 days without rain and then be okay.

    I even had to hold off on spraying apple trees because it got so wet and muddy in there I did not dare go in. Now there are only about 50% of the leaves left. Water has gone down some but a long way to go yet.

    Apparently we just missed some rain last night. I got some passing moderate sprinkles while I was cooking on the grill, but apparently it poured in Lowell.

    Forgot to mention that yesterday I picked a few strawberries. Oh, those first berries of the year are always super sweet. Love them for sure!

    Perfect day for cutting wood,some sun a little wind to keep the bugs away the dogs stayed out in the sun until some clouds rolled overhead then they wanted back in the pickup .

    I just discovered Ag Pro in Marion is carrying Stihl. I may have to switch my allegiance to them. By the time I discovered it I had already given the saw to my grandson.

    Just checking in. Way too much going on. Not so much in my personal space, but in the space all a round us. Good to go outside and breath in some fresh air. Don't spend too much time in front of the TV. POTUS is due near here tomorrow. Saying my prayers that those decisive elements behave or stay home.

    Here’s something you don’t see everyday. A bear wandered into Monroe WI this morning. Perhaps he needs a covid test?

    Monroe is about 10 miles from the Illinois state line. We rarely see bears this far south.

    Last week we had a neighbor call us and tell us that she just seen a bear on our property. That night left a calling card in the side yard. Today took Holly up so she could check the woods out. Where I was parked after a bit I heard like a huffing sound right behind me in the woods. Looked couldn't see anything. But decided I wasn't sticking around to find out.
