    Just another Friday here, which means work. At least I'll still have my trainee. It's nice to have someone to drive me around and do half of my work.

    I do get holiday pay, which is about half of what I usually make in a day. I suppose that would make time and a half, if I got paid by the hour.

    Work all 3 days of the holiday weekend. Had a mechanic leave a week ago and they're topdressing 3 out of the 5 golf courses here the next few days. Will be spending many hours grinding reels and bedknives. Have a cold one for me please.
