    A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO
    MOVE INTO THE LAKESHORE COUNTIES AROUND 9 PM THIS EVENING. THIS LINE
    WILL THEN MOVE EAST ACROSS THE AREA AND REACH THE U.S.-127 BY
    MIDNIGHT. THE MAIN THREATS WITH THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL BE DAMAGING
    WINDS TO 70 MPH AND HEAVY RAINFALL. LARGE HAIL WILL ALSO BE
    POSSIBLE. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE OF A TORNADO.

    I tried to call but got nothing.... Did you get ahold of him zap? Edit) just realized the cell tower is out.

    It's anchored and has a 7' fence blocking the wind so I guess we will see...

    Stay safe! Your on the leading edge if I saw it right. That storm goes all the way out into the plains. My family in Iowa said they got hammered really bad.

    We are unfortunate that there is no wind blocks and our road is east to west tunnel so it hits us hard normally...

    Yep, further south in Iowa they are feeling it. My other brother has a big ash tree down, old lady's cousin reported silos being destroyed, Waterloo is flooded.

    My rain gauge shows .05" of rain so far. It looked a lot worse on radar than it was, at least here. It looks pretty nasty north of here and down by the Indiana border. It split right around GR.

    They've already cancelled the thunderstorm watch here. Not even two hours old.

    Hope everyone stays safe tonight.

    D day for me. Mom is in the hospital for her triple bypass. She goes in the OR at 1:45.

    Very hot here today. 85 and humid... :zip: ... this polar bear's been busy keeping the home fires cooled down as much as the air units will go. So far, I've only tripped one breaker... :whistle: ... kind of funny... doing the exact opposite of the firewood thing. Make cool... not heat.
