Good luck there! Maybe if this was the dead of a record-cold winter, and someone who heated with wood as a primary heat source had just run out... MAYBE then the seller could score enough cash to buy himself another dime bag of whatever it is he's smoking. Big maybe there.
That’s a common price. FB marketplace sometimes demands a number depending on what category your posting it in. Many people just type in 12345 when they don’t want a specific number.
I chuckle when the seller tells you what it's obviously good for. You almost want to respond: "I see your wood is good for a wood stove. Could you tell me perhaps if this wood would be suitable for my steam locomotive? I'm looking to move it about 4.5 inches."
Actually, that is taught in sales and believe it or not, it is good and works. I remember when I came across this and started using the principle. I was astonished with the results. The way I used it was to tell a benefit then "which means..." That really works wonders. Not 100% of the time but nothing seems to work quite that often. It is like saying there is a form on the Internet called Firewood Hoarder's Club. You can go there to read all sorts of things, which means, it can also be called an educational forum, which could mean that you too might learn a few things, which could mean that your productive time cutting wood will give you better results and could also mean that your burning practices may improve which would mean you don't need as much wood put up... That is just one wild example. In practice it would be so long winded.
