    Good morning, all.

Muggy day here this morning. Not warm enough for the AC. Ceiling fans are wonderful.

Hoping to get a haircut today. The place I go doesn't take appointments. Just walk in. Small barber shop. I stopped by yesterday. They have a deli-type take a number setup, with a whiteboard indicacting the current number. I guessed there was a 2 hour wait. I left. Maybe today. Maybe not.

Good morning. There is nice cool high pressure in place and luckily our home is over 10 miles upwind of the fires burning in Minneapolis/St. Paul. This is a very sad situation all the way around. Sorry about the bad news, but at least the Army National Guard is finally getting in place. The rioters have created a retail desert, with hundreds of buildings and stores looted, and now burning out of control. Society is a thin veneer.

hovlandhomestead, so sorry to hear and read what is going on in your state. If the COVID wasn't bad enough for store owners, insurance doesn't pay a dime towards a store's loss if due to looting. What happened isn't only horrible, it is criminal. I hope the system deals with this justly. So many lives ruined and lost.

Good morning all. A little cooler weather today. Calves get a day off as I am supposed to go fishing with my youngest daughter's husband. Hopefully the storms blow through and allow us some time on the water. Have a safe and healthy day.

We started out with a long dry spell, which was good for the farmers getting their fields planted. We have had a number of days of rain over the last week or so which came at the right time for the farmers. Corn is coming up nicely hay fields are looking good. Hope we continue to get a good mix of wet and dry weather this year. Farmers need every break they can get these days.

Good morning everyone. Looks like a mix bag here. Started out with a little rain. The clouds are being pushed out and the sun is shining. We have dried up for the most part so most of the yard can be mowed with the rider. I need to get my weed wacker out and start running it. It's electric and that means extension cord. Which for me is a pain in the azz.
Have a great Friday and and a better weekend. Stay safe and healthy.
