Added this monster cherry to the pile

    This thing was so big my 450 rancher had to come at it from both sides. We dropped it , bucked it up into some really heavy rounds and milled a a few slabs. Such a great looking piece of wood.

    That is a good size. Cant say ive ever seen a cherry that big. Some beautiful stock. Any pics of the slabs?

    The heart wood faded a bit but this stuff looks great. I split up a small chunk of it to grill with. The flavor is awesome.

    Sweet cherry ;) Better get a ton of weight on top of them bad boyz. Maybe a ton and a half.
    I found out the hard way how much cherry likes to warp while drying :)

    Cherry cut into boards look nice for sure but as jo191145 stated, beware of warping.

    Actually i'm not keeping any. My partner is keeping 2 and we gave the rest away. I dont really have a need for them right now.

    Cherry is something that I never seem to find, ever. I really should try milling someday as the stuff sure looks nice.
