    I need to get the weed eater out and clean up around the fire pit. Won’t happen today.
    Punky Alder isn’t the best wood but makes a decent camp fire when dry. Very little snapping and popping.

    Used our firepit several times already. We grill with charcoal and use the pit to start charcoal and i almost always keep it going.
    BTW, you're beer will heat up too fast when that close to the fire! :rofl: :lol:
