Goodbye heating season Time to cleanup Ready for the big blow Hello summer All set for beers, burgers, dogs, and more beers
Looks great Mike We’ve had several summer like weekends this spring... needed a fire in the stove last night!
I had a morning stove fire today, and opened and few windows. And now it's pushing 70 outside. If I need to bring up some wood for and other morning fire, then so be it.
Nice Mike! I'm definitely going to be burning in the fire pit this weekend... with the aforementioned beers.
MikeInMa isnt going anywhere.. we would drive to Mass.. kidnap him put him on MT Washington until he begged us for and I am waiting on ordered stain to be delivered so until then. Split N Stack!!
Generally I look at June 10 as the end of the heating season. Sometimes it happens earlier and sometimes later. This year looks to be earlier. We have 3 days of 80's forecast for this Holiday weekend. I'm betting on lots of really red skin by Tuesday.
Looking good Mike! Must be the year for it we just finished sanding our pool deck. My son is going to stain it. The obligitory wood picture in the back ground.
Looks great Mike. We are ready to meet up with friends this weekend. Virus be dammed! We will social distance... You don't want to see my "deck." Lol.
No plans to overhaul the deck. The sun here just beats on it. It's going on 30+ years, pressure treated. Still solid, just looks rough. We clear it when it snows, to use the grill and to access the front of the house to get mail. So, the sun is on it all year.
I was blessed by being up at the top, once. A few years ago, in September. The dice rolled well for us - 40's at the top, breezy, and not a cloud in the sky. We bought a ticket and took one of the vans up. I'd have liked to take the Cog up, but there's no bathrooms onboard for the trip.. That wouldn't fly with the Missus. We stayed at the Mount Washington Resort. It was for my 60th,birthday. It was another tick on my bucket list.
